An Unexpected Year 2023!
Today, it's common in Muslims to celebrate holidays of different occasions like Christmas, Valentine's Day, Birthday and New Year ect.
At first, celebrating them means we agree with what those days determined as celebration of Christmas stands for "Jesus given birth by Allah" Na Udubillah! is a big partnership (Shirk) with Allah and similarly other celebrities.
As a celebration of New Year in inauguration of happiness, joy and prosperity not on what's gone and booked in life is logically unacceptable bcz every fruition is celebrated at the end but why this is at the beginning. Instead of repenting sins we committed on what we didn't obey rules and couldn't complete what's commanded to us, we like to celebrate it forbiddenly.
As soon as a year ends, we celebrate an unexpected year which is still undecided to our life we don't know whether we will live or die in. As we don't expect a single millisecond ahead nor was it notified to us before.
Like this, in Hajjah Al- Wedah the last & final pilgrimage of our prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when he announced the victory of Islam, every companion (R) started celebrating it but wise companions like Umar (R) broke and crying. A companion asked him why u are crying in happy moment dear! He replied that today Islam is arrived to us as it should have the prophet (S.A.W) completed his responsibility of spreading monotheism to the world as he should do but from today it starts downing bcz very upstair has downstair so I'm broken inside.
Note: the companions even didn't like to celebrate the victory in hands so why we should celebrate an unexpected year which is undecided yet!
Additionally, if anyone of you wishes someone of blessings and makes
Dua for a better future and also regrets the sins and wrongdoings committed knowingly & unknowingly, it's not forbidden anywhere but when u celebrate the way others do for future by dancing, drinking, and lighting fireworks ect, it's not fair but is like celebrating for death.
I don't want to repeat that New Year Celebration is forbidden in Islam through forbidden ways as it's well cleared to everyone of u but wanted to clear a bit.
May Allah bless who didn't celebrate it and guide who unknowingly conducted it, Ameen.
