Today is International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples.
We all have a responsibility to respect and preserve the rights, culture, language, heritage, and distinct identity of all indigenous communities around the world, including Bangladesh.
The rich culture and heritage of indigenous peoples have further enriched the diversity of our society and civilization. Ensuring their rights, eliminating discrimination, and creating equal opportunities in education and the workplace are important parts of building a just and inclusive society.
