CRIMES AND HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES IN THE ROHINGYA REFUGEE CAMPS
DPRI has released a new investigative report documenting killings and serious human rights abuses against Rohingya refugees in the Cox’s Bazar refugee camps from 2019 to 2026.
The report documents 92 killings and finds that the RSO was responsible for the overwhelming majority of the documented cases, while also examining abductions, arbitrary detention, threats, and other abuses. It further exposes the repeated and deliberate attribution of RSO crimes to ARSA.
The report includes victim information, testimonies, photographs, supporting evidence, and documented information concerning the perpetrators.
DPRI calls for proper investigation, accountability, and action by the Government of Bangladesh and relevant authorities to protect Rohingya civilians and bring those responsible to justice.
