𝘼 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚, 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨🇧🇩🌍🥰
Miss World journey has honestly been one of the most unforgettable and defining experiences of my entire life.
Before coming here, it was all about representing my country and presenting my cause. I knew, and I still know, that it is deeply important. But after coming here, I discovered so many powerful causes and met some of the most extraordinary women I have ever known. And now that we are almost at the end of the Miss World journey, I just feel honored to be a part of this. I feel honored to stand beside these women, not just as fellow contestants but as changemakers and deeply inspiring souls. I have been truly moved by them and their work.
During the Head to Head round, I was mesmerized listening to them. The depth of their thoughts, the passion behind their missions, and how fearlessly they are trying to create impact struck something in me. I kept thinking, this is what hope looks like. If there are so many compassionate and brilliant souls in the world, then this world must have a real chance to become better. There is no other way.
I cried, I laughed, I felt peace. I felt everything during that Head to Head round. And honestly, I did not feel the pressure of competition. I truly did not care about winning. I did not care about rankings or placements. Because Miss World to me feels like a beautifully designed excuse to bring together powerful hearts from every corner of the world. We are here to share ideas, connect as humans, and witness each other’s journeys. That is the real prize.
I am deeply grateful for this experience. I know I will leave this place as a changed person. I will try to be even more committed to my cause, because these women, these queens, have inspired me in ways I did not know I needed. It just feels right to be here. It feels like where I was meant to be.
Also, last night at the Beauty With a Purpose Gala Night, watching the videos we saw was absolutely incredible. Among them, I especially loved Indonesia’s project. But honestly, I loved the rest too and everything about the way the night unfolded. It was powerful, emotional, and left a lasting impact on me.
All the girls here are genuinely beautiful, not just in appearance but in soul. If I were to name a few, although we all spent time together, we naturally spent more time within our continent. So among them, Miss Lebanon, Nada, has become a very special friend. Our relationship is that classic love and roast friendship. We constantly tease and challenge each other, but there is a deep mutual care beneath all the jokes. I would never say this to her face because we are too used to bantering, but she has truly been one of my closest friends here.
Miss Sri Lanka is elegance personified. She embodies the spirit of Beauty With a Purpose with grace and depth.
Miss Vietnam is the spark of every room. A total performer with infectious energy. Whenever she is on stage, we know something exciting is about to happen.
Jennifer is such a lovely person. And what a voice. I am genuinely a fan. She was one of the first friends I made here.
And Miss New Zealand, Samantha Pool, is incredibly sweet. She looks innocent and she truly is. Very pure-hearted. I would say Samantha and Miss Australia were some of my earliest friends, especially since I arrived a day late and did not have a roommate. At one point I thought I might leave without making any close friends, but honestly, that is not how I feel now. I have made real connections.
Miss Indonesia and I are already planning a trip to Bali. I promised her I would go. And Miss Philippines, she is as pretty as her heart. So kind and warm.
Also, people from other continents. Everyone here is so fun-loving. Wherever we hear music, we just start dancing. It is amazing. I am honestly astounded by this diversity. Everyone is always dancing, laughing, loving, being pretty and glamorous and radiant. And at the same time, when they talk about their causes or when I watch their purpose videos, I see real people. People who care. People who lead. People who think deeply. That combination of beauty, soul, and seriousness is undeniably attractive. I do not have words for how beautiful that feels.
I do not know the names of all 109 countries yet. I do not know every contestant’s name by heart. But I know for sure that I danced with every single one of them at least once. I shared a moment. I shared a memory. I shared laughter. I shared love. I shared the experience. I spoke to each and every one of them at some point. And I know that I built a connection with all of them. And that is just so special.
You know what is even more incredible? I know that I now have friends all around the world in 109 countries. And the feeling I have right now, this emotional bond, I am one hundred percent sure that if I ever visit any of these countries, even five or ten years from now, and I just message one of them saying I am here, she will welcome me with open arms. Even if we did not get much time to talk here. Because honestly, it is impossible to have deep, personal conversations with every single person considering how packed our schedule has been. But even without long talks, we have formed meaningful emotional bonds and a sense of sisterhood with one another. I know it because I feel it for every single queen here. I just know I care for them deeply. And that is why I believe they care for me too. It is honestly beautiful to realize that I now have a global circle of friends. I could not be more thankful for what this journey has given me. It is truly special.
I know we only have a few more days left, but I am already feeling emotional just thinking about the fact that it is coming to an end. It is hard to process.
I know that when I grow older, I will look back at this time and smile. This will forever be a cherished memory.
