14/64: Kishoreganj District

One of my first explorations in the northern region of Bangladesh was Kishoreganj, and I had high hopes for it, especially for the famous Mithamain road. It’s known as one of the most beautiful roads in Bangladesh, and it didn’t disappoint. Mithamain is a biker’s paradise — a straight, smooth road surrounded by open lands that stay underwater for half the year.

They say Mithamain offers two completely different experiences depending on the season. I went in winter, so there was no water, but the winter vibe was so peaceful and beautiful. I can’t wait to visit again in the rainy season to see the other side of its beauty.

Shoutout to Towhid Bhai, a fellow biker I met during a tea break in Comilla while traveling from Chittagong to Dhaka. We bonded instantly over our shared love for bikes and exploring Bangladesh. He invited me to visit his city, Kishoreganj, and that’s where our friendship began. After Kishorganj we later explored Mymensingh together. All thanks to the amazing biking brotherhood. Through this culture, I’ve bonds like this all over the Bangladesh now!
