"Outside of a handful of high-ranking generals who directly benefited from fascist Hasina, the majority of army officers and ordinary soldiers supported the July revolution. This was directly witnessed by those of us who participated in the movement on the ground. It cannot be denied that, except for a few locations across the country, they directly supported the students and the masses.
State-sponsored cyber terrorists, backed by a neighboring country, are attempting to pit the people against this crucial force tasked with protecting our nation's independence and sovereignty. They are now inciting this online by boosting it with dollars. We must not fall for this provocation under any circumstances. At the same time, we demand assurance that the army stands with the students and the people.
Now, the nation must unite on two issues:
1. The Awami League must be banned. Their judicial process must be made visible.
2. Those within the army who were direct accomplices of Awami fascism, especially those who were politically exploited in the past and involved in enforced disappearances, killings, and other crimes, must be properly punished."
