Monday| 22 September 2025
The Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) has announced that its Freedom Soldiers have successfully captured a major base-camp belonging to the Buddhist religious extremist militant group, the terrorist Arakan Army (AA), in northern Maungdaw Township.
According to Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA)βs official, the intense battles between Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) Freedom Fighters and Arakan Army (AA) terrorists have been raging for over a week and continue to this very day. Despite the Arakan Army (AA) deploying reinforcements from southern Maungdaw towards the north, Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) has dealt heavy blows to their grip of terror, breaking through enemy strongholds and seizing strategic ground.
The Arakan Army (AA), known for its massacres, forced displacement, and ongoing genocidal crimes against Rohingya Muslims, is now facing fierce resistance. Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) Freedom Soldiers have vowed that they will never allow the land of Arakan to be ruled by extremists who thrive on the blood of the innocent.
The situation remains tense as thousands of Arakan Army (AA) militants are moving northward to try and reclaim their lost base. Yet the morale of Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA)βs fighters remains unshaken. This struggle is not just a fight for land, it is a fight for dignity, justice, and survival of the Rohingya people in their ancestral homeland.
ARSA has called upon the Rohingya people and the wider Ummah to keep them in their prayers as the battle for freedom continues.
