দেশের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোতে পার্ট-টাইম জব ও ক্যারিয়ার সেন্টার চালুর তাগিদ দিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রীর শিক্ষা এবং প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা উপদেষ্টা ড. মাহ্দী আমীন। বাংলাদেশ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় মঞ্জুরী কমিশন (ইউজিসি) কর্তৃক বাস্তবায়নাধীন হায়ার এডুকেশন অ্যাক্সিলারেশন অ্যান্ড ট্রান্সফরমেশন (হিট) প্রকল্পের আওতায় আয়োজিত দুই দিনব্যাপী উপাচার্যদের সংলাপের প্রথম দিনে উচ্চশিক্ষার নীতিনির্ধারকদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় সেশনে তিনি এসব কথা বলেন। শুক্রবার (২১ আগস্ট) সাভারের ব্র্যাক সিডিএমে এ সংলাপ শুরু হয়েছে

UniFlash is a youth-focused media initiative that flashes campus stories on a national stage by the Flashers of UGC Approved Educational Institutions all over the Country. We are excited to launch this year's UCF Programme.

Who Can Apply?
- The programme is open to undergraduate students from all UGC Approved Educational Institutions
- Students who are studying in the 2nd or 3rd year
- Students with a keen interest in Campus Storytelling, content writing, graphic design, photography/videography, communication and event activation are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Journalism studies students will get extra preference.
- A specific technical skill (software like Adobe, apps like Canva or CapCut) will get extra preference

Role and Responsibilities -

- 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Gather, verify, and report breaking news, events, and important updates from the university campus promptly.
​- 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Produce engaging multimedia content (reports, photos, and short videos) highlighting campus life, achievements, and issues.
- 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: Build and maintain strong contacts with student bodies, faculty members, and university administration to source reliable information.
​- 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Uphold Uniflash’s editorial standards, ethics, and reputation as a campus-based news medium.

ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটিতে (ডিআইইউ) চমৎকার আবহে শেষ হলো তিন দিনব্যাপী ‘ডিআইইউ বইমেলা ২০২৬’। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ভারপ্রাপ্ত উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. মোহাম্মদ মাসুম ইকবাল আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে এই মেলার উদ্বোধন করেন। সেন্ট্রাল লাইব্রেরি এবং ডিআইইউ প্রেসের যৌথ উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত এই মেলায় বাংলাদেশ পুস্তক প্রকাশক ও বিক্রেতা সমিতির মাধ্যমে ২১টি স্বনামধন্য প্রকাশনী প্রতিষ্ঠান অংশ নেয়।

অ্যাপ্লাইবোর্ডের এক বিশ্লেষণে ১ হাজার ৩৭০টি স্টাডি পারমিট প্রত্যাখ্যানের চিঠি পর্যালোচনা করা হয়েছে। এতে দেখা গেছে, প্রত্যাখ্যানের প্রধান কারণ ছিল পর্যাপ্ত আর্থিক প্রমাণ না থাকা। মোট প্রত্যাখ্যানের ৪৭ শতাংশের ক্ষেত্রে এই কারণ উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে।

সিটি কর্পোরেশন ও জেলা শহর এলাকায় এসএসসিতে প্রাপ্ত জিপিএ ৫ এবং গ্রামীণ / অনগ্রসর স্কুলের জন্য জিপিএ ৪.৮৩ প্রাপ্তরা এই শিক্ষাবৃত্তির জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন।
