Start crafting business strategies with a SWOT Analysis 🥂

So… what is a SWOT Analysis? It’s a framework used to evaluate a company’s competitive position and to develop strategic planning. It assesses internal and external factors of a business, as well as current and future potential.

It’s a lot easier than you may think to do one. Create a diagram with 4 quadrants or boxes.

→ Strengths
Strengths describe what an organization excels at and what separates it from the competition: strong brand recognition, loyal customer base, unique technology, etc.

→ Weaknesses
Weaknesses stop an organization from performing at its optimum level. These are areas where the business needs to improve to remain competitive: high levels of debt, an inadequate supply chain, or high client turnover.

→ Opportunities
Opportunities refer to favorable external factors that could give an organization a competitive advantage: few competitors in niche, emerging need for product/services, or press of your brand.

→ Threats
Threats refer to factors that have the potential to harm an organization: emerging competitors, changing customer attitudes towards your company, or negative press.
