Shaykh Qari Ahmad Bin Yusuf Al-Azhari is the world renowned Quran Reciter (Qari) of Bangladesh. was also a renowned Qari of the Asian Region and he is the pioneer of Quran recitation in Bangladesh. Ahmad Bin Yusuf completed his Hifz (memorization of Holy Quran) & Rewayet Hafs from his father in early age. He completed his Masters in Dawra-E-Hadith (Islamic Studies) in 2001. Later he went to Egypt

in 2002 and got admitted into the Ma'hadul Qira'at of Al-Azhar Al Sharif at Cairo, Egypt and studied 10 Qira'at (Qira'at Ashara). Besides he completed diploma in Arabic Language from Cairo University and he also learnt Arabic Tilawah Rhythm (Maqamat) from Music Institute of Cairo. Ahmad Bin Yusuf achieved 1st position in the International Qira'at Competition at Dubai, UAE in 2011 & 3rd position at Iran in 2011. He's the only one Bangladeshi Judge at several international competitions (Qira'at & Hifz). Currently he's the Director of Ma'hadul Qira'at Bangladesh & President of the 'International Quran Recitation Association-IQRA'. He has been appointed as the Chief Qari (Shaikhul Qurra) of Bangladesh in 2018 by the 'Ittehadul Arabee Wad Dualy Li-Tilawatil Quranil Kareem (Ittehadul Qurra Al-Alamia)' operational under the 'Arab League'.
