Job Title: 3D Artist/Animator (Non-Paid Internship)
Company: MCGI Animation Studio
We are MCGI Animation Studio, a 3D studio production looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is interested in learning the VFX process and building a strong portfolio for their future career. As a non-paid intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team of artists and animators and gain valuable knowledge and skills in the field.
What You Will Receive:
Valuable hands-on experience in 3D modeling and animation using Blender
The opportunity to work on real-world VFX projects for film, TV, or other media
Guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals in the industry
A chance to build your portfolio with high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations
A letter of recommendation upon completion of the internship, if desired
Responsibilities:
Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations using Blender
Collaborate with other team members to ensure the project meets the desired outcome
Continuously improve your skills and knowledge of 3D modeling and animation techniques
Assist in the production of VFX shots for film, TV, or other media projects
Attend meetings and provide feedback on the project
Work remotely and communicate regularly with the team
Occasionally attend in-person meetings if necessary
Requirements:
Software: Blender
Knowledge: Unreal Engine, VFX (After Effect), Substance Painter
A strong understanding of 3D modeling and animation principles
Proficiency in Blender or other 3D software
Good communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
A portfolio of previous 3D modeling and animation work (not required but preferred)
