Salary negotiation কীভাবে করবো?

Company এমন একটা salary range বললো, যেটা আপনার expectation থেকে অনেক কম৷
এখন আপনি কী করবেন? চুপচাপ মেনে নেবেন? না কি smartly negotiate করবেন?

চলুন দেখি কীভাবে এই situation-এ নিজেকে ভালভাবে
উপস্থাপন করবেন

যাতে company ও বোঝে আপনি deserving, এবং আপনার চাওয়াটাও justified

১. আগে থেকে prepare থাকুন
Interview এর আগেই market research করে নিন। আপনার position-এ, আপনার যত experience থাকলে average কেমন salary পাওয়া যায় – সেটা Glassdoor বা LinkedIn থেকে দেখে রাখুন।

২. নিজের value বুঝে কথা বলুন
Company যদি কম offer দেয়, আপনি এটা বলতেই পারেন "I appreciate the offer, but based on my skills and past results, I was expecting something more aligned with market standards."

এতে আপনি rude হবেন না বরং আপনি বুঝিয়ে বলবেন যে আপনি কতটা valuable

৩. সরাসরি একটাই amount বলবেন না, একটা range দিন
Range দিলে flexible থাকা যায়। ধরুন:
“I was thinking in the range of 60,000 to 70,000, depending on the full compensation package and responsibilities.”

৪. শুধু salary না, পুরো package কে consider করুন
Salary ছাড়াও অনেক কিছু matter করে
যেমন bonus,
remote work, leave policy, growth opportunity ইত্যাদি। এইগুলো নিয়ে আলাদা করে জেনে নিন।

৫. সব সময় positive tone বজায় রাখুন
Negotiation মানে ঝগড়া না – এটা mutual understanding-এর অংশ।
"I'm really excited about this role and I'm sure we can find a number that works for both of us."
এমন ভঙ্গিমায় বললে, আপনি professional এবং respectful শুনাবেন।

৬. একবারে না বলবেন না, politely counter করুন
Offer পছন্দ না হলে, সরাসরি “না” না বলে, বলুন
"Thank you so much for the offer. Based on my expectations and the role's scope, is there flexibility to increase it slightly?"
Negotiation যানেই আপনি greedy না – বরং আপনি নিজের যোগ্যতা বুঝে কথা বলছেন।
Self-respect smart communication, final interview-এ salary নিয়ে কথা বলা আর awkward লাগে না!

CV পাঠানোর সঠিক নিয়ম!

প্রায়ই দেখা যায়, কেউ হয়তো বলেছে,

“আমার ইনবক্সে CV পাঠান”,

আর আপনি শুধু একটা PDF ফাইল অ্যাটাচ করে পাঠিয়ে দিলেন

একটা লাইনও লিখলেন না!

এটা কিন্তু একদম ভুল পদ্ধতি।

আপনার CV-এর পাশাপাশি, একটা প্রফেশনাল ইমেইল লেখাও

অত্যন্ত জরুরি।

কারণ আপনার ইমেইলের ভাষা থেকেই একজন HR বুঝতে পারে

—আপনি কতটা সিরিয়াস ও প্রফেশনাল।
