As the international community meets at the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development ( ), evidence-based responses will be critical to mitigate the potential impact of reduced assistance.
The OECD highlights several measures development co-operation providers could consider:
➡️ Sharing timely data and analysis on the implications of funding shifts for development outcomes
➡️ Monitoring where the largest financing shortfalls are occurring, particularly in countries and sectors facing heightened vulnerability
➡️ Engaging in strategic dialogue with national and local authorities to assess how best to maintain essential services and results
➡️ Exploring diverse financing instruments and partnerships that can increase resilience and strengthen support tailored to country contexts
