একজন পুরুষ আমার লাইফে ছিলো৷ যাকে আমি প্রায় তিন বছর ধরে চিনতাম। যাকে পেয়ে আমি নিজেকে সুখী ভাবতাম। সেই পুরুষটিকে নিয়ে আমার ভীষন মাতামাতি ছিলো। চিৎকার করে দুনিয়াকে জানিয়ে দিতো ইচ্ছে করতো এই মানুষটা আমার। করতামও তাই। সেই মানুষটা সোশ্যাল মিডিয়াতে আমার কোনো পোস্টে রিয়েক্টও দিতোনা দিলেও খুব কম। ছবি আপলোডের কথা বললে বলতো সবকিছু প্রাইভেট রাখাই ভালো। আমি কত্ত অবুঝ, সাধাসিধে ছিলাম।‌ মেনে নিতাম সব। কত্তকিছু করতে বলেও লাভ হতোনা। আজ 2 বছর 1 মাস 13 দিন পেরিয়ে গেলো পুরুষটির সাথে যোগাযোগ হয়না।
কেন জানি আমি মধ্যরাতে স্ক্রিনে তার আইডি হাতড়ে বেড়াই। দেখি একজন সুদর্শনার সাথে সেই পুরুষমানুষটির ভালোবাসাময় ছবি। সেই সুন্দরী নারীর প্রোফাইলে গিয়ে দেখি প্রত্যেক পোস্টে সেই পুরুষটির সরব উপস্থিতি।
সেই পুরুষটি আমাকে শিখিয়েছে...

to be met with warmth, not questions.

Whom should I wait for?
Who will love all the little things I love, when the world says they are meaningless?
Who will understand that a single “বেলি ফুলের গাজরা” in my hand is enough to make feel the happiest, to make me feel like a queen?
Who will understand the oversensitive me?that my heart is soft, and that softness is not weakness?
Who will stay when my tears fall too often, too easily?
Who will hold my hand all the time, through all the storms, instead of walking away? (“Oh holding hand! That’s too expensive)
Who will never raise their voice knowing my soul cannot survive harshness?
Who will choose silence instead of shouting, patience instead of anger?
Who will see me not as too much, nor too little, but simply as enough,, exactly as I am?
Or… am I waiting for someone who only exists in the corners of my dreams?
