=> এই পাঁচটি conjunction-এর অর্থ এবং ইংরেজি বাক্যে ব্যবহার নিচে দেওয়া হলো:
১. Lest (যাতে না, এই ভয়ে যে)
* অর্থ: কোনো অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত ঘটনা ঘটার সম্ভাবনা বা ভয় বোঝাতে এটি ব্যবহার করা হয়। এটি সাধারণত 'should' অথবা 'might' এর সাথে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
* Example:
* Walk carefully lest you should fall. (সাবধানে হাঁটো, যাতে না তুমি পড়ে যাও।)
* He hid the money lest someone might steal it. (সে টাকা লুকালো, এই ভয়ে যে কেউ হয়তো সেটি চুরি করতে পারে।)
২. Till (পর্যন্ত)
* অর্থ: কোনো কাজ বা অবস্থা একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত স্থায়ী থাকবে বোঝাতে এটি ব্যবহৃত হয়।
* Example:
* I will wait here till you come back. (তুমি ফিরে না আসা পর্যন্ত আমি এখানে অপেক্ষা করব।)
* She worked till midnight. (সে মধ্যরাত পর্যন্ত কাজ করেছিল।)
৩. Until (পর্যন্ত)
* অর্থ: 'Till'-এর মতোই এটিও কোনো কাজ বা অবস্থা একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত স্থায়ী থাকবে বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'Till' এবং 'until' প্রায় একই অর্থে ব্যবহার করা যায়।
* Example:
* Don't open the door until I tell you to. (আমি তোমাকে না বলা পর্যন্ত দরজা খুলবে না।)
* He didn't say anything until the teacher asked him directly. (শিক্ষক সরাসরি জিজ্ঞাসা না করা পর্যন্ত সে কিছুই বলেনি।)
৪. Otherwise (অন্যথায়, নইলে)
* অর্থ: কোনো একটি নির্দিষ্ট কাজের বিপরীত ফলাফল বা বিকল্প কোনো পরিস্থিতি বোঝাতে এটি ব্যবহৃত হয়।
* Example:
* Hurry up, otherwise you will miss the bus. (তাড়াতাড়ি করো, নইলে তুমি বাসটি ধরতে পারবে না।)
* Be careful, otherwise you might hurt yourself. (সাবধান হও, নইলে তুমি আঘাত পেতে পারো।)
৫. Not only...but also (শুধু...নয়...আরও)
* অর্থ: দুটি জিনিসের মধ্যে সংযোগ স্থাপন করে, যেখানে প্রথমটির পাশাপাশি দ্বিতীয়টিরও সত্যতা বা অস্তিত্ব বোঝানো হয়। এটি জোর দেওয়ার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়।
* Example:
* He is not only intelligent but also hardworking. (সে শুধু বুদ্ধিমানই নয়, পরিশ্রমীও।)
* She can not only sing but also dance beautifully. (সে শুধু গাইতেই পারে না, সুন্দর নাচতেও পারে।)
