Afroza Naznin Shumi is a reknowned culinary artist, popular TV presenter, food columnist, a BTEB certified trainer & assessor, serious social enterpreneur and a loving mother. Due to his father's Government service, she had a chance to experience various places of Bangladesh which enriches her culinary canvas. e Production, Food Hygiene and has also completed many other courses to widen her knowledge and efficiency. She hosts immensely successful cooking shows with herseamless and spontaneous presence. She writes for Prothom Alo along with canvas & other magazines and papers in Bangladesh. Not only in Bangladesh, she regularly contributes for different publications in India & Nepal too. Two of these publications are the very popular and well respected “Sananda” and “Anandabazar”. She loves to teach children and takes regular cooking classes. She presently works for a leading digital marketing agency in Dhaka. Afroza has achieved numerous awards. Her recent achievements are dual language recipe book "Cooking with Shumi" & "Bangladesher Hridoy Hote". She also published recipe books in Braille named "Bahari Ranna", "Shumir Jhotpot Ranna", "Shumir Hengshel", for visually impaired people. She plans to open her own restaurant in the near future. Being a sensitive and responsible social person, she wants to work with special children. She loves to see people smile.
