The real world rewards results, not effort or entitlement. Success comes from delivering value, not just showing up or feeling deserving. Some Gen Zs (not all) mistake presence for achievement or emotions for reality. No one owes you success, growth, or a six-figure salary. Show up on time, follow through, and deliver more than excuses. Expecting constant inspiration from a job is unrealistic; maturity means taking responsibility for your own motivation. The world moves fast, and those who don’t adapt risk falling behind. Work ethic and accountability remain key.
That said, I’ve worked with Gen Zs who are incredibly talented, driven, and resilient, pushing me to be more agile and strive harder. As leaders, we must guide our teams, fostering professionalism while adapting to their unique strengths. Gen Zs are the future, and effective leadership means understanding and managing people across generations, adjusting our approach to inspire and elevate everyone.

সমাজের ধারণা মানুষের মনের একটা মজার আয়না—যেটা কখনো সত্যি ছবি দেখায়, কখনো বেঁকা-চোরা! রিকশাওয়ালারা মাসে ৩০ হাজার টাকা কামালেও সমাজ তাদের গরিবের খাতায় ফেলে। কেন? কারণ ওদের ছেঁড়া লুঙ্গি, কালো মুখ, গেঁয়ো কথা আর লেখাপড়ার অভাব আমাদের মাথায় “গরিব” লেবেলটা গেঁথে দিয়েছে। এটা যেন একটা পুরানো সিনেমার স্ক্রিপ্ট—রিকশাওয়ালা মানেই দুঃখী, আর ফিটফাট শার্ট-প্যান্ট পরা গ্র্যাজুয়েট মানেই বড়লোক!
এদিকে আপনি ১৫ হাজার টাকা কামান, কিন্তু সমাজের চোখে আপনি “এলিট” কারণ আপনার স্টাইল, কথাবার্তা আর ডিগ্রি তো চকচক করে! হাসির কথা কী জানেন? সমাজ এই লেবেল লাগাতে এত ব্যস্ত যে আসল হিসাব কে কত কামায়, কে কত সুখী সেটা দেখতেই ভুলে যায়।
এই ধারণার জাল থেকে বের হতে হলে আগে লেবেল ছাড়তে হবে। রিকশাওয়ালাকে গরিব আর নিজেকে বড়লোক ভাবা বন্ধ করুন। তাহলে দেখবেন, সমাজের আয়নাটা একটু সোজা হয়ে আসল ছবি দেখাতে শুরু করবে।
