Some journeys speak louder than qualifications. And this is one of those stories that I believe deserves to be told again and again.

It is a privilege to share the extraordinary transformation of Md. Saad Hossain, currently a 'Junior Research Collaborator' at ABCD Laboratory, Bangladesh, and now a 'Research Trainee' at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, Germany, as part of his Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree program, which he secured through a highly competitive, fully funded scholarship in 2024.

But what makes this journey truly exceptional is that when Saad applied for this prestigious opportunity, his undergraduate CGPA was just 2.57.

In a system where CGPA is often seen as the final verdict on someone’s potential, Saad is living proof that numbers can never capture one’s spirit, sincerity, and capacity to grow.
