I had done lip blushing from cottage Signature. Today was my second session. My lips were pretty pale and I always wondered how it'd look to redraw some outlines a bit.
Previously I had done one session from another salon. But my experience was horrible. Their service and outcome were very poor.
But I loved how lash cottage took care of the botched job done by others.
They give enough time. Sanitizer throughout the step. After my first session, there were swelling for 3-4 days, but it went down slowly. Ideally, the second session should be after 25-30 days, but as I have an event during that time and my lips were quite healed, I decided to go for the second round.
Is it painful?? Ofcourse!! But my pain threshold is pretty strong. But as it's microblading on lips, and they will do it three times all over per session.
This will fade over time...will take around 1-1.5 years depending on your skin. It's actually semi permanent makeup.
It's perfectly fine if you don't want to do it. It's not mandatory. Dark or pigmented lips are not end of the world. I just wanted to have fun, so went for it.
