গত শুক্রবার জাতিসংঘের সাধারণ পরিষধে জাতিসংঘের পূর্ণ সদস্যের জন্য ফিলিস্থিন আবেদন করে। সেই আবেদনের প্রেক্ষিতে জাতিসংঘের ১৯৩ টি পূর্ণ সদস্য দেশের মধ্যে ১৪৩ টি দেশ ফিলিস্থিনের পক্ষে ভোট দেয়, ২৫টি দেশ ভোটদান থেকে বিরত থাকে এবং ৯টি দেশ ফিলিস্থিনের বিপক্ষে ভোট দেয়, সেই ৯টি দেশের মধ্যে একটি হলো আর্জেন্টিনা। আমরা যারা এতদিন আর্জেন্টিনার ফুটবল দলকে সাপোর্ট করেছি, তারা এখন থেকে আর্জেন্টিনার ফুটবল দল কিংবা তাদের দেশকে সাপোর্ট করব না। আজকে থেকে নতুন করে কেউ আর্জেন্টিনা ফুটবল দল কিংবা দেশকে নতুন করে সাপোর্ট করবেন না। আর্জেন্টিনাকে সাপোর্ট করার চেয়ে উগান্ডাকে সাপোর্ট করা অনেক ভালো। বয়কট আর্জেন্টিনা ফুটবল দল, দেশ এবং প্লেয়ার।
Palestine applied for full UN membership at the UN General Assembly last Friday. Following that petition, 143 of the 193 full member states of the United Nations voted in favor of Palestine, 25 abstained from voting, and 9 voted against Palestine, one of those 9 being Argentina.
