My grandfather Commander Manik Chowdhury is the 34th death anniversary of today.

Manik Chowdhury is the only civilian freedom fighter who acquired the title 'Commandant' in the history of great liberation war. On March 26, he continued to be ready for the liberation war with other leaders and workers of Habiganj on the day. Hearing the fact that a weapon needed to fight with a skilled military, he robbed the government of Habiganj. Sherpur took part in Sadipur war at the beginning of April. Many are known to be the interview with Major General C and Bir Uttam, as he was a front fighter, as he was a 4-year-old, in the 3rd, Sector 4, the military, in the sector, with the weapons of the military, food providers of India, and the freedom fighters in Kailacity. As a comrade-in-arms, Asdio Akbar Ali Khan in one of his writings of Habiganj (In 2006, Manik Chowdhury said that many brave men did not get the right place in the Rangana of the Liberation War. Commandant Manik Chowdhury, the late popular leader of Habiganj, who was neglected in history, will pray to Allah Ta'ala to give him a high place in Paradise
