জানুয়ারিতে শুনেছিলাম, আমরা সিলেক্ট হইনি। ছয় মাস পর জানলাম, আমরাই সেই দ্বিতীয় দল। 🌍💧
গত বছর, রংপুর বিভাগে ১৩২টি দলের সাথে প্রতিযোগিতা করে SuperGen imaGen Ventures Youth Challenge-এ বিভাগীয় চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়েছিল। এরপর জাতীয় পর্যায়ে বাংলাদেশের ৮টি বিভাগ থেকে আসা ১৬টি দলের মধ্যে প্রতিযোগিতা করে আমরা দ্বিতীয় স্থান অর্জন করি।
কিন্তু জানুয়ারিতে জানানো হয়েছিল, ইউনিসেফ বাংলাদেশ থেকে গ্লোবাল রাউন্ডের জন্য মাত্র একটি দল যাবে। আর সেটা আমরা ছিলাম না।
সেদিন কষ্ট লেগেছিল, কিন্তু থেমে থাকিনি। কাজ চালিয়ে গিয়েছি।
তারপর, কয়েকদিন আগে, একটা মেসেজ পেলাম যা পুরো ছবিটাই বদলে দিল — ইউনিসেফ বাংলাদেশ সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে, একটি নয়, দুইটি দল যাবে গ্লোবাল রাউন্ডে। আর সেই দ্বিতীয় দল আমরাই।
আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, SuperGen এখন বাংলাদেশের প্রতিনিধিত্ব করছে UNICEF imaGen Ventures Global Challenge 2026-এ, যেখানে বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন দেশের তরুণ উদ্যোক্তাদের সাথে প্রতিযোগিতা করে আমরা পেতে পারি গ্লোবাল ফান্ডিং, মেন্টরশিপ এবং আন্তর্জাতিক নেটওয়ার্কিং-এর সুযোগ।
এছাড়াও, SuperGen WaterAid Bangladesh আয়োজিত BLUE Business Idea Competition-এ জাতীয় পর্যায়ে সেরা ৭টি দলের একটি হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি অর্জন করেছে — যা আমাদের কাজের প্রতি আরেকটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্বীকৃতি।
এই যাত্রাটা সহজ ছিল না, আর সামনের পথটাও সহজ হবে না। তাই আপনাদের কাছে বিনীত অনুরোধ — আমাদের জন্য দোয়া করবেন, যেন আমরা বাংলাদেশের নাম আরও গর্বের সাথে বিশ্বের সামনে তুলে ধরতে পারি। 🤲
আপনাদের একটা দোয়া, একটা শুভকামনা আমাদের জন্য অনেক বড় শক্তি।

"People are the centrepiece of every revolution."

That line from Professor Henrik von Scheel stuck with me more than any framework on the slide behind him.

Sharing a room with entrepreneurs and innovators, listening to one of the pioneers of Industry 4.0 walk through his "Periodic Table of the 4th Industrial Revolution", mapping everything from AI and quantum tech to climate change and resource scarcity. It would've been easy to walk away thinking the future is all about technology.

Instead, his point was the opposite: for a country like Bangladesh, the real competitive advantage is investing in people. Skills, resilience, and human capacity are what actually determine whether a nation captures the upside of this revolution or gets left behind by it.

That resonated deeply with the work I do on the ground with SuperGen, where the real innovation was building trust and capacity within the communities using it.

I want to especially thank Minhaz Anwar Bhai for considering me worthy of a seat in that room. Opportunities like this don't come often, and being trusted with one genuinely felt life-changing. Grateful also to BetterStories and Fatema Apu for putting together an evening where conversations like this happen, and to Breity Sabrin for capturing the moment.

Some of the best insights on the "4th Industrial Revolution" turned out to be the oldest idea in the book: bet on people first.

Five years ago, the 3ZERO Club was founded on a vision that sounded almost impossible: a world of zero poverty, zero unemployment, and zero net carbon emissions.
This past week, I had the privilege of attending the 3ZERO Club Convention 2026 in Dhaka, alongside national and international changemakers, youth leaders, and social innovators, marking the fifth anniversary together.
One moment from the day has stayed with me since.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus took the stage and said something that reframed how I think about everything I am trying to build with SuperGen:
"If you want a world with 3Zero, first create a 3Zero person yourself."
It sounds simple. It is not.
I have spent the last two years trying to solve a water crisis in rural Bangladesh from the outside in, with better filtration technology, better distribution, and better funding. What Dr. Yunus reminded me yesterday is that the real starting point is always inside out. You cannot build a zero-poverty solution while carrying scarcity thinking. You cannot build a zero-carbon model while operating with a zero-discipline mindset. The transformation has to start with the person attempting it.
His second point landed just as hard: impossible things become possible not through individual brilliance, but through a strong structure and a team that genuinely believes in the vision.
That one stopped me completely.
Because the truth is, SuperGen Water exists today because of mentors who believed in an unproven idea before it had any external validation to point to.
I want to specifically thank two people who shaped that early belief: Abdullah Al Araf Bhai and Rahat Uddin Bhai, who mentored me through the imaGen Ventures Youth Challenge with UNICEF and JAAGO Foundation.
Meeting changemakers from across the world taught me that collaboration is the entire mechanism through which change actually happens.
Two lessons I am carrying forward from that day:
Become the change you are trying to create before you ask the world to change.
Build a team that believes in the vision before the proof exists because that belief is what makes the impossible eventually look inevitable.
Grateful to the 3ZERO Club for five years of building this movement, and to everyone in that room yesterday pushing toward a world that once sounded impossible and now feels increasingly within reach.

হাবিপ্রবি (HSTU) ক্যাম্পাস থেকে সোজা সুইজারল্যান্ড অ্যাম্বাসির আন্তর্জাতিক প্রজেক্টে! 💼✨
৪ বার স্টার্টআপে ব্যর্থ হওয়ার পর আজ যখন এই সাইন করা এগ্রিমেন্টটা হাতে ধরলাম, তখন মনে হলো— হাল না ছেড়ে "আরেকবার চেষ্টা করার" মানসিকতাটাই আজ আমাকে এখানে এনেছে।
গ্র্যাজুয়েশন শেষ করার আগেই ওয়াটারএইড বাংলাদেশ এবং সুইস অ্যাম্বাসির GO4IMPact প্রোগ্রামের অধীনে 'SuperGen'-এর বিশুদ্ধ পানির পাইলট প্রজেক্টের ১ম মাইলস্টোন (BDT 300,000+ চুক্তি) অফিশিয়ালি হ্যান্ডওভার করেছি। আগামী অক্টোবরের মধ্যে নওগাঁর নিয়ামতপুরে ১০০টি পরিবারের এই লাইভ প্রজেক্টটি আমরা সম্পন্ন করতে যাচ্ছি (Total cost: BDT 600,000+)।
এই অর্জন আমার একার নয়। কৃতজ্ঞতা GO4IMPact-এর প্রাইভেট সেক্টর স্পেশালিস্ট মোঃ সাইদুজ্জামান পুলাক ভাইয়ের প্রতি—যিনি আমার ওপর বিশ্বাস রেখেছেন। থ্যাংকস টু মাই টিম (Rofiqul Islam Rakib Bhai, Raijul Islam Tanvir, Nurani Mariyam Mirza, Tanzila Islam Rifa) এবং ওমর ভাই—যিনি আমাকে বিজনেস মডেলিং ও ফান্ডরেজিং শিখিয়েছেন।
সবচেয়ে বড় কথা, এই মাসেই ফাইনাল পরীক্ষা শেষ করলাম। ডিগ্রি হাতে পাওয়ার আগেই একটি আন্তর্জাতিক চুক্তি এবং একই সাথে 'Teach for Bangladesh'-এ নিজের পজিশন নিশ্চিত করতে পারা কেবলই আল্লাহর অশেষ রহমত এবং আমার বাবা-মায়ের ত্যাগের ফল।❤️
সবাই দোয়ায় করবেন । 🇧🇩🤝🏽

Big news for Team SuperGen! 📢

We are honored to be featured among the top 10 startups in Bangladesh by the WaterAid BLUE platform! From 315 teams across the country, SuperGen was selected for our work in providing safe drinking water through eco-friendly filtration in the Naogaon region.

During the intensive bootcamp at Hazari Cottage, we worked with experts to ensure our water filters are not only effective at removing heavy metals but also affordable for every family.

Huge thanks to WaterAid Bangladesh and Swisscontact for believing in our mission. Safe water is a right, and we are making it a reality! 💧✨

🏭 Factory Visit | Moving from Design to Reality
SuperGen visited Prime Machineries to discuss the required machine specifications and production design for the SuperGen Water Filter.
During the visit, we had productive discussions on machine quality, technical requirements, and manufacturing feasibility. We also observed their existing machineries to better understand production standards and capacity.
This visit marks an important step forward in transforming our solution from concept to scalable reality—bringing us closer to delivering safe and affordable drinking water to communities. 💧

As the Founder of SuperGen, I’m incredibly proud to share that we presented the SuperGen Water Filter—a smart, affordable, and sustainable solution for safe drinking water—at the Community Solution Pitch Day.

Sixteen divisional-winning teams came together for the imaGen Ventures Youth Challenge 2024–25, part of the “Shopner Sharothi” project by UNICEF Bangladesh and JAAGO Foundation Trust—marking the grand finale of an inspiring one-year journey of youth-led innovation.
This platform reaffirmed my belief that community-driven solutions can create real impact when innovation meets purpose. Grateful for the mentorship, partnerships, and everyone who believed in our vision.
The journey continues—toward cleaner water and healthier communities. 💧🌱
