Big news for Team SuperGen! 📢

We are honored to be featured among the top 10 startups in Bangladesh by the WaterAid BLUE platform! From 315 teams across the country, SuperGen was selected for our work in providing safe drinking water through eco-friendly filtration in the Naogaon region.

During the intensive bootcamp at Hazari Cottage, we worked with experts to ensure our water filters are not only effective at removing heavy metals but also affordable for every family.

Huge thanks to WaterAid Bangladesh and Swisscontact for believing in our mission. Safe water is a right, and we are making it a reality! 💧✨

🏭 Factory Visit | Moving from Design to Reality
SuperGen visited Prime Machineries to discuss the required machine specifications and production design for the SuperGen Water Filter.
During the visit, we had productive discussions on machine quality, technical requirements, and manufacturing feasibility. We also observed their existing machineries to better understand production standards and capacity.
This visit marks an important step forward in transforming our solution from concept to scalable reality—bringing us closer to delivering safe and affordable drinking water to communities. 💧

✨ SuperGen Shines at Community Solution Pitch Day!
As the Founder of SuperGen, I’m incredibly proud to share that we presented the SuperGen Water Filter—a smart, affordable, and sustainable solution for safe drinking water—at the Community Solution Pitch Day.

Sixteen divisional-winning teams came together for the imaGen Ventures Youth Challenge 2024–25, part of the “Shopner Sharothi” project by UNICEF Bangladesh and JAAGO Foundation Trust—marking the grand finale of an inspiring one-year journey of youth-led innovation.
This platform reaffirmed my belief that community-driven solutions can create real impact when innovation meets purpose. Grateful for the mentorship, partnerships, and everyone who believed in our vision.

We’re excited to share a big milestone in our journey! 💧✨
Our team has been selected among the Top 10 teams at the BLUE – Business Idea Competition organized by WaterAid Bangladesh, following an intensive 3-day residential bootcamp focused on solving water and waste challenges in Satkhira and Naogaon.
As part of this program, we’ve also received BDT 25,000 in initial implementation support, which will help us take our idea closer to real-world impact.
Grateful for the mentorship, learning, and opportunity to work on sustainable solutions that matter. This is just the beginning. 🚀

Proud to share that our team SuperGen was selected as a Top 10 finalist at the Green Innovation Fest 2025, organized by ActionAid Bangladesh in collaboration with Bangladesh Youth Environmental Initiative (BYEI), with strategic support from Aspire to Innovate (a2i).
Our journey included booth camps on 24–25 November, where we showcased our solution, engaged with visitors and experts, and received valuable on-spot feedback. This was followed by the final pitch on 26 November, where our team, Khairen Mirza and myself, presented our innovative green business idea focused on climate impact, social value, and economic sustainability.
While we did not place in the Top 3, the experience was deeply impactful. We gained hands-on learning in green business modeling, impact measurement, fund readiness, and pitching to diverse stakeholders.
Grateful for the learning, exposure, and connections. This experience has further motivated us to continue building meaningful, sustainable solutions.
