The Farmer, the Sheep & the Lion ๐๐ฆ
Once, there was a farmer who had a flock of sheep. To keep them safe, he hired a young shepherd boy ๐ฆ.
The boy often got bored while watching the sheep all day. One day, just for fun, he shouted, โLion! Lion! A lion is attacking the sheep!โ ๐ฆ
Hearing his cries, the villagers rushed to help. But when they arrived, there was no lionโonly the boy laughing ๐.
โThis was just a joke!โ he said.
A few days later, he did the same thing again. The villagers came running, only to be fooled once more. This time, they were angry ๐ and warned him not to lie again.
Then one day, a real lion appeared ๐ฆ and began attacking the sheep. Terrified, the boy shouted, โLion! Please help!โ ๐จ
But this time, no one came.
The villagers thought he was lying again. The lion attacked the sheep, and the boy was left helpless.
๐ Moral:
If you keep lying, no one will believe youโeven when you tell the truth.
