প্রায় ২০ ঘন্টা রোকেয়া হলে কারেন্ট নেই৷

একটু বুঝিয়ে বলি, ধরেন ২৪ এর জুলাই এ যে এত বড় আন্দোলন হইলো,এত কার্ফিউ হইলো,এত বড় অটোক্রেটিক গভার্নমেন্ট...তাও কিন্তু ইলেক্ট্রিসিটি সাপ্লাই, ফুড সাপ্লাই কাট করতে পারে নাই। অনেক আপ রাইজিং হয়, কিন্তু অনেক বড় বড় ডিক্টেটররাও কোনোদিন বেসিক কমোডিটি কাট আউট করে আন্দোলন দমন করার সাহস করে না। কারন এটা চরম মানবাধিকার লঙ্গন এবং জাতিঙ্ঘের কনভেনশন অনুযায়ী শাস্তিযোগ্য অপরাধ।
কারো ইচ্ছাকৃত ভাবে অথবা অবহেলা বশত কোনো পার্টিকুলার গ্রুপকে বেসিক কমোডিটি থেকে বঞ্চিত করা একটা হিউম্যান রাইট ভায়োলেশন আর লিগ্যালি একশনেবল ক্রাইম৷

আমরা আসল সমস্যা সম্পর্কে অবহিত না এবং হল কর্তৃপক্ষ সঠিক উত্তর দিতে এবং অল্টারনেটিভ কোনো ব্যবস্থা করে দিতে ব্যর্থ হয়েছে।

প্রথমত মেয়েদের হলে থাকা নিয়ে কাগজ সাইন করানো সহ নানা হ্যারেসমেন্টের সহ এখন বেসিক কমোডিটি গুলোও প্রভাইড করতে ব্যর্থ হচ্ছে।

এটা প্রমান করে যে, যখন ছোট ছোট অবজ্ঞা গুলোকে প্রতিবাদ ছাড়া মেনে নেওয়া হয় তখন তারা তোমার বেসিক রাইট নিয়েও হ্যালা ফ্যালা করার অডাসিটি পেয়ে যায়। এটা হাই টাইম যে, শুধু মেয়েরা না, কুয়েটের সব স্টুডেন্টদের উচিৎ ভয়েজ রেইজ করা।

Ex-VC of KUET, Prof Dr Mohammad Masud, has been accused of misusing funds and making illegal appointments. A committee has recommended legal action and the recovery of losses, including Tk 55.54 lakh related to the appointment of data processor Moniruzzaman and Tk 13 lakh withdrawn from the German “SCIP Plastics Project” funds. Allegedly, Prof Dr Masud threatened to stop the work of the German project unless he was made the project lead.
