আজকের নোটিফিকেশন

হযরত আনাস রাযি. বলেন,

رَأَيْتُ رسول الله – صلى الله عليه وسلم – جَالِسًا مُقْعِيًا يَأكُلُ تَمْرًا.

আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামকে দুই হাঁটু খাড়া করে নিতম্বে ভর করে বসা অবস্থায় খেজুর খেতে দেখেছি।

সহীহ মুসলিম: ২০৪৪

পাদটিকা:

الْمُقعِي শব্দটির উৎপত্তি إِقعَاءٌ থেকে। এর অর্থ এমনভাবে বসা, যাতে নিতম্ব মাটিতে থাকবে, দুই পায়ের নলা থাকবে খাড়া এবং দুই হাত দিয়ে নলা জড়িয়ে ধরা হবে। আরবীতে একে اِحْتِبَاءُ-ও বলা হয়। সাধারণত সেকালে গোলামেরা এভাবে বসত। নবী সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামও অনেক সময় এভাবে বসতেন। এরূপ বসার দ্বারা বিনয় প্রকাশ পায়, যেহেতু এ বসাটা গোলামদের বসার সঙ্গে সাদৃশ্যপূর্ণ।

হাদীস থেকে শিক্ষণীয়ঃ

আল্লাহ তা'আলার বান্দা হিসেবে অন্য সকল ক্ষেত্রের মতো বসার বেলায়ও আমাদেরকে বিনয় অবলম্বন করতে হবে।
