মাছে কি ঘুমায় ⁉️
এ নিয়ে প্রশ্ন আছে। বিজ্ঞানীরা বিষয়টি নিয়ে গবেষণা করেছেন এবং বলেছেন, মাছেরাও ঘুমায়। তবে মাছের ঘুম আমাদের মতো নয়; তাদের ঘুমের ধরন আলাদা।

মাছেদের ঘুম আমাদের মতো চোখ বন্ধ করে শুয়ে থাকার মতো নয়। কারণ বেশিরভাগ মাছেরই চোখের পাতা নেই, তাই তারা চোখ খোলা রেখে ঘুমায়। ঘুমের সময় মাছেরা সাধারণত কম নড়াচড়া করে, তাদের শরীর স্থির থাকে এবং তাদের শ্বাস-প্রশ্বাসের হারও ধীরে চলে আসে। তবে, এরা সম্পূর্ণভাবে অচেতন থাকে না। অর্থাৎ তাদের স্নায়ুতন্ত্র সক্রিয় থাকে। ফলে তারা যেকোনো হুমকি এলে দ্রুত সাড়া দিতে পারে।

মাছেদের ঘুমের ধরন অনেকটা প্রজাতি অনুযায়ী পরিবর্তিত হয়। কিছু মাছ গভীর ঘুমে ডুবে যায় না, তারা এমনভাবে বিশ্রাম নেয় যা তাদের সচেতন রাখে এবং চারপাশের পরিবেশ থেকে সম্পূর্ণ বিচ্ছিন্ন হয় না। আবার কিছু মাছ ধীরে ধীরে পানির নিচে গিয়ে ঘুমায়, যাতে তারা অক্সিজেন গ্রহণের প্রক্রিয়াও চালিয়ে যেতে পারে।

কিছু মাছ, যেমন হাঙ্গর, পানি প্রবাহের মাধ্যমে এদের শ্বাস-প্রশ্বাস প্রক্রিয়া চলে। ফলে এরা সবসময় সাঁতার কাটতে বাধ্য। তবুও এরা ঘুমায়, তবে ঘুমের সময় হাঙ্গরা কম নড়াচড়া করে, ধীরে ধীরে সাঁতার কাটে।

বিজ্ঞানীরা মাছের ঘুম নিয়ে গবেষণা করেছেন এবং দেখেছেন যে ঘুম বা বিশ্রাম হলো একটি প্রক্রিয়া। যা প্রায় সব প্রাণীর শরীরে প্রয়োজন হয়। মাছের ঘুমের দরকার হয়, কারণ ঘুমের মাধ্যমে তারা তাদের শরীরের ক্লান্তি দূর করে এবং মস্তিষ্ক পুনরুজ্জীবিত হয়। এমনকি কিছু গবেষণায় দেখা গেছে, মাছেদের ঘুম বঞ্চিত করলে তারা মনোযোগ হারায় এবং তাদের আচরণে পরিবর্তন আসে। এটা অনেকটা মানুষের ঘুম বঞ্চিত হওয়ার মতোই।

ঘুমের সময়ও মাছেরা শ্বাস নেয়, তবে সেই সময় তাদের শ্বাস-প্রশ্বাসের হার ধীর হয়ে যায়। অনেক মাছ পানির ভেতর অক্সিজেন গ্রহণ করে গিলসের মাধ্যমে, ফলে তারা স্থির থাকলেও শ্বাস নেওয়া বন্ধ হয় না।

মাছেরা ঘুমায়, তবে তা আমাদের মতো নয়। তাদের ঘুমের ধরন বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রেই তাদের প্রজাতি, পরিবেশ এবং জীবনযাত্রার উপর নির্ভর করে। কিছু মাছ স্থির থেকে ঘুমায়, কিছু মাছ ধীরে ধীরে সাঁতার কাটতে কাটতে বিশ্রাম নেয়। বিজ্ঞানী ও গবেষকদের মতে, ঘুম প্রত্যেক প্রাণীর জন্য অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, এবং মাছেদের ক্ষেত্রেও এর ব্যতিক্রম নেই।

With Elon Musk’s recent milestone of amassing $400 billion in wealth and a visit by his senior security advisor to Dhaka, anticipation is growing for his participation.

The event, expected to feature Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus as the chief advisor, seeks to draw global tycoons like Jeff Bezos and Larry Ellison to boost investment in the country. Preparations for the three-day conference are already underway.

A stunning fireball lit up the skies over parts of the United States on December 21, as a Chinese satellite, GaoJing 1-02, reentered Earth’s atmosphere. The satellite, which had been out of operation since early 2023, burned up while traveling at an incredible speed of 17,000 mph. Residents across Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Missouri were treated to the unexpected sight, with some mistaking it for the Ursid meteor shower happening around the same time.

Astrophysicist Jonathan McDowell confirmed the reentry was uncontrolled, and the satellite mostly disintegrated during its descent. This event came just a day after a Chinese Longmarch 4B rocket reentered over Puerto Rico, raising concerns about the growing issue of space debris as more satellites populate low Earth orbit.

DhumketuX: বাংলাদেশের প্রথম এরোস্পেস কোম্পানিকে আন্তর্জাতিক অঙ্গনে আমন্ত্রণ

বাংলাদেশের প্রথম এরোস্পেস কোম্পানি DhumketuX আন্তর্জাতিক অঙ্গনে বাংলাদেশ কে তুলে ধরার গৌরব অর্জন করেছে। প্রতিষ্ঠানটির প্রতিষ্ঠাতা ও প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা নাহিয়ান আল রহমান আগামী ফেব্রুয়ারিতে সিঙ্গাপুরে আয়োজিত The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) এর "Space Situational Awareness & Responsible Space Behaviour" কর্মশালায় বাংলাদেশের এরোস্পেস সেক্টরের প্রতিনিধিত্ব করবেন।

ধুমকেতুর যাত্রা শুরু ও সাফল্য:

নাহিয়ান আল রহমানের নেতৃত্বে DhumketuX ২০২২ সালে বাংলাদেশের 'Rocketry Innovation Challenge-2022' প্রতিযোগিতায় বিজয়ী হয়ে প্রথমবারের মতো জাতীয় স্বীকৃতি লাভ করে। প্রতিযোগিতায় তার টিমের উদ্ভাবনী দক্ষতা ও প্রযুক্তিগত সামর্থ্য সবার নজর কাড়ে।

এরপর ২০২৩ সালের ফেব্রুয়ারিতে DhumketuX Junior Team এর উদ্যোগে বাংলাদেশের প্রথম প্রোটোটাইপ রকেট সফলভাবে উৎক্ষেপণ করা হয়, যা দেশের রকেট্রির ইতিহাসে একটি মাইলফলক।

আন্তর্জাতিক স্বীকৃতি:

এই ধারাবাহিক সাফল্যের ফলস্বরূপ, IISS কর্মশালায় আমন্ত্রণ প্রাপ্তি DhumketuX-এর জন্য আন্তর্জাতিক অঙ্গনে বড় এক অর্জন। এটি বাংলাদেশের এরোস্পেস সেক্টরে নতুন সম্ভাবনার দ্বার উন্মোচন করেছে। নাহিয়ান আল রহমান বলেন, “এই কর্মশালায় অংশগ্রহণের মাধ্যমে আমরা বৈশ্বিক প্ল্যাটফর্মে আমাদের সামর্থ্য প্রদর্শনের সুযোগ পাব।”

চলমান কাজ:

বর্তমানে DhumketuX এর একটি গবেষণা টিম 'বিদ্রোহী' নামের সাব-অর্বিটাল রকেট তৈরি নিয়ে কাজ করছে। নাহিয়ান আল রহমান জানিয়েছেন, যথাযথ পৃষ্ঠপোষকতা পেলে 'বিদ্রোহী' রকেটটি ২০২৫ সালের মধ্যে মহাকাশে পাঠানো সম্ভব হবে। এটি বাংলাদেশের জন্য হবে আরেকটি যুগান্তকারী সাফল্য।

গুরুত্ব ও সম্ভাবনা:

DhumketuX-এর এ অর্জন কেবল বাংলাদেশের প্রযুক্তি খাতকে সমৃদ্ধ করবে না, বরং আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমণ্ডলে বাংলাদেশের অবস্থান আরও সুদৃঢ় করবে। পাশাপাশি, দেশের তরুণ উদ্ভাবক ও বিজ্ঞানীদের জন্য এটি এক অনুপ্রেরণা হয়ে থাকবে।

এই অসামান্য অর্জন বাংলাদেশের বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি অঙ্গনে নতুন দিগন্তের সূচনা করেছে এবং ভবিষ্যতে এরোস্পেস শিল্পে দেশের অগ্রযাত্রা ত্বরান্বিত করবে।
