সূরা "আনকাবুত"
অর্থ: 'মাকড়সা"
সুরাহ নং ২৯
আয়াত ২

মানুষ কি মনে করে যে, ‘আমরা বিশ্বাস করি’ এ কথা বললেই তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা না করে ছেড়ে দেওয়া হবে?

অর্থাৎ, মৌখিকভাবে ঈমান আনার পর তাদের কোন পরীক্ষা না নিয়েই এমনি ছেড়ে দেওয়া হবে --এই ধারণা পোষণ করা ঠিক নয়।

বরং তাদের জান-মালে বিপদ-আপদ দিয়ে এবং অন্যান্য সমস্যা দিয়ে পরীক্ষা নেওয়া হবে, যাতে আসল-নকল, সত্য-মিথ্যা এবং মু'মিন ও কাফেরের মধ্যে পার্থক্য সূচিত হয়।

Do people think that just saying 'we believe' will let them off the hook?

That is, it is wrong to assume that after verbally believing, they will be released without any test.

Rather, they will be tested with dangers to their lives and other problems, so that the difference between genuine and fake, true and false, and between believers and disbelievers will be revealed.
