Passage Narration
*** Reporting verb যদি direct spech এ মাঝে অথবা শেষে থাকে indirect করার সময় reporting verb প্রথমে বসে। example
Direct : "Will you play football, tomorrow?" I asked tamim.
Indirect: I asked tamim if he would play football the next day.
*** Reported যুক্ত Assertive sentence কে একাধিক বার থাকলে indirect করার সময় added / further / also said / again said বসে।
**Reported যুক্ত interrogative sentense কে একাধিকবার থাকলে indirect করার সময় also asked/ said asked / again asked বসে।
The teacher said to me, " you can stop reading. You may read tomorrow".
Ans: The teacher told me that I could stop reading then. He added that I might read the next day.
*** yes যুক্ত sentence কে indirect করার সময় গঠন প্রনালী sub+replied in the affirmative
Direct: Robiul said to Rafi, " Have you finished your home work?" yes, I will submit it tomorrow. Said Rafi.
Indirect : Robiul asked Rafi, if he had finished his home work. Rafi replied in the affermative and said that he would submit it the next day
*** No যুক্ত sentence কে indirect করার সময়
গঠন প্রনালি sub+replied in the negative
Direct: Bonna said to sadia, "Are you preparing now?"sadia said, "no"
Indirect: Bonna asked sadia if she was preparing then. Sadia replied in the negative.
***"Thank you" Reported spech যুক্ত sentence কে indirect করতে হলে গঠন প্রনালী
Reporting verb এর sub + thanked +reporting verb এর obj
Direct: He said to me, "Thank you"
Indirect: He thanked me.
Direct: she said to him, Thank you"
Indirect: she thanked him
***Direct spech এ good morning/good evining/ good night/ তাকলে Indirect structure
Sub+wish/wished+ good morning/good evining
/good night.....
Direct: He said to her, Good night,
He wished good night.
*** Reported spech এ Good Bye থাকলে indirect করার নিয়ম- Reporting verb এর sub+ bid/bade+ reporting verb এর obj+ good bye.
Direct: she said," Good bye "
Indirect: she bade her good bye
