Happy snow day Mama's!
Is it just me or does anyone miss actual snow days??? Where kids didn't have another reason to be connected to an electronic device like we so often mention? Am I the only one that longs for pre COVID schooling and no more flex days? Just old fashioned snow days where kids could go sled riding all day and come in for hot chocolate and not have to worry if they remeber how to login to online school...
We preach so often, about limiting screen time and kids getting back to basics and now we can't even have a day without logging on. On top of working from home (or scrambling to teach Grandma how to log in for Joey before we set off to our work day) and everyday house work, let's just add to the loads of an already horrendously busy life!
My child will log on (if I can manage to remember all the info required) and my child will complete his work. I just had to let this one out. Maybe because I recently turned 40 and my sensor switch flipped to saying what I need to without holding it in anymore. Or maybe I am overwhelmed, or maybe all of the above. Either way, I am going to make a choice to do my best, get it done, and enjoy time with my child!
While I may feel like the Mama in this video at times, we have have each other to vent through on these lovely social media apps, to relate to one another. I for one feel 1000% better at the moment! Lol!
