Flight Lieutenant Towkir 💔 stayed behind...

He fought till the very last moment —
to protect something greater than his own life.

Below was a school, there were children.
He knew his decision could save hundreds of lives.

Today, we didn’t just lose a pilot —
we lost a brave warrior.

Last year in Chattogram, a brilliant officer landed a plane in a river and saved lives.
This time, fate wasn’t on our side…

We are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic aircraft crash that took place at Milestone College in Uttara today.

Our heartfelt prayers go out to the victims, the injured students and their families and everyone affected by this devastating incident. 💔

May the departed soul rest in peace and may those injured recover swiftly and completely.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Pilot Tauqir didn’t eject—perhaps he was trying to steer the plane to an open area and was silently saying, “O Allah, just a little further, the base is near. Please give me a little more time.”

The boys and girls at Milestone were probably also thinking, “When will this class end so we can go home?” Because home means peace and comfort.

The hardest thing to gain is time, and unless Allah wills, it’s impossible to buy even a moment more. That’s why Allah says:
“When their appointed time arrives, they can neither delay it by a moment, nor advance it.”
(Surah Al-A'raf, Ayah 34)

Mahreen Madam was one of those rare teachers who taught us with her very life...
She showed us how to love, how to take responsibility, and how to stand face-to-face with courage.

In those horrific moments of the plane crash, she didn’t think of saving herself —
she risked everything to protect her students.

She may no longer be with us,
but her sacrifice will remain immortal in our memories.
May the Almighty grant her the highest reward — Ameen.
