His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, has launched World Police Summit 2024 at the Opening Ceremony. Addressing the leaders and officials in attendance, he encouraged all to take advantage of this "opportunity to discuss both the opportunities and significant challenges that law enforcement agencies face."
With innovation at the heart of this event, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri spoke to Dubai's role in the modern age of law enforcement:"Dubai has made innovation and creativity a part of its core. The Dubai Police has recently launched the Drone Box system, which includes drone-launching platforms that have significantly reduced emergency response times."
His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri celebrated Dubai's other pioneering programs, including "inaugurating the world's first floating Smart Police Station, situated 10km off Dubai's coast. This groundbreaking project offers 46 key in criminal and security services in seven languages, aiming to serve over 500,000 people by 2030."

Finally, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri echoed the human-centered approach driving this event: "Inspired by the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, we value human resources as the foundation of every achievement and the cornerstone of realising any organization’s goals, prioritising their care and support."
