Today marks a historic milestone as the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) observes Chakma Language and Script Day for the very first time.

This is more than just a celebration—it’s a recognition of our rich linguistic heritage, cultural identity, and the importance of preserving the Chakma language and script for future generations.

Heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Executive Member, Hon’ble MDCs, respected Chakma intellectuals, officials, and everyone who contributed to making this historic occasion possible.

May this be the beginning of a stronger commitment towards the promotion, preservation, and development of the Chakma language, script, literature, and culture.
