đ Rewards Continue Even After Death: 16 Simple Ways of Sadaqah Jariyah đ
Charity does not decrease wealth; rather, Allah removes difficulties through it and increases the provisions for the Hereafter. The Messenger of Allah īˇē said:
âCharity does not decrease wealth.ââ Sahih Muslim
Letâs learn some simple yet highly rewarding ways of giving charity:
1ī¸âŖ Donate a Prayer Mat to a MosquePlace a prayer mat in a mosque. As long as people pray on it, you will continue to receive rewards, In shaa Allah.
2ī¸âŖ Provide Water for BirdsKeep a bowl of water on your balcony or rooftop. Giving water to thirsty birds is also an act of charity.
3ī¸âŖ Donate Unused ClothesGive clean and usable clothes to people in need.
4ī¸âŖ A âRepentance Charity BoxâWhenever you make a mistake, place some money in a box out of repentance. At the end of the month, donate it to the poor or orphans.
5ī¸âŖ Spread Duas and SunnahsWrite small duas and place them on walls or doors in your home. Whenever someone reads and practices them, you will gain rewards too.
6ī¸âŖ Support an OrphanAccording to your ability, help with the food or education of an orphan child.
7ī¸âŖ Serve Workers and LaborersOffer water or snacks to workers during hot weather. This is a greatly rewarding deed.
8ī¸âŖ Donate a Copy of the QurâanGive Qurâans to mosques or Islamic schools. Every letter recited will bring rewards for you as well, In shaa Allah.
9ī¸âŖ Avoid Wasting WaterInstead of throwing away leftover water, give it to plants. Benefiting Allahâs creation is also a good deed.
đ Give Emotional SupportComforting someone in distress or giving sincere advice is also charity.

1ī¸âŖ2ī¸âŖ Forgive OthersBefore sleeping, forgive everyone. Keeping your heart free from hatred is a beautiful act of worship.
1ī¸âŖ3ī¸âŖ Teach Islamic KnowledgeTeach someone even one verse or a small surah. If they act upon it or teach others, you will continue receiving rewards.
1ī¸âŖ4ī¸âŖ Continuous Charity (Sadaqah Jariyah)Helping build mosques, schools, water wells, or planting trees are deeds whose rewards continue even after death.
1ī¸âŖ5ī¸âŖ Raise Righteous ChildrenA righteous child becomes a source of ongoing rewards and prayers for their parents.
1ī¸âŖ6ī¸âŖ Share Goodness with OthersThe Prophet īˇē said:âWhoever guides someone to a good deed will receive a reward similar to the one who performs it.ââ Sahih Muslim
⨠Remember:Charity is not only for the wealthy. Even giving a single date sincerely can earn Allahâs pleasure.
