My wish was to be writing this caption after the 19th, as world champions! But somehow, it wasn't possible to achieve our great goal in this World Cup! Right after the defeat, the feelings of frustration and sadness are overwhelming, followed by many questions! But I choose not to succumb to those feelings, and to get back on my feet immediately!
In this life under the sun, the taste is bittersweet! Sometimes we will rejoice in the sweet taste of victory, sometimes we will feel the bitter taste of defeat! And football is a great example of this! But thank God for Jesus Christ, who gives us a perspective beyond this life, and allows us to enjoy everything we receive from the Lord's hands!
I lived intensely every day of this World Cup, with commitment, dedication, and always striving to do my best!
I want to thank from the bottom of my heart everyone who cheered for us and believed in us. I could see in this World Cup a great mobilization of millions of Brazilians with the same feeling and objective, and my wish is that this feeling continues. We continue our quest for the sixth title!!
আমার ইচ্ছা ছিল ১৯ তারিখের পর বিশ্ব চ্যাম্পিয়ন হিসেবে এই ক্যাপশনটি লেখার! কিন্তু কোনোভাবে, এই বিশ্বকাপে আমাদের মহান লক্ষ্য অর্জন করা সম্ভব হয়নি! পরাজয়ের ঠিক পরেই, হতাশা এবং দুঃখের অনুভূতি প্রবল হয়ে ওঠে, সাথে আসে অনেক প্রশ্ন! কিন্তু আমি সেই অনুভূতির কাছে হার না মানার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি এবং অবিলম্বে আবার উঠে দাঁড়ানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি!
এই পৃথিবীতে স্বাদটা মধুর-তিক্ত! কখনও আমরা বিজয়ের মধুর স্বাদে আনন্দিত হব, কখনও আমরা পরাজয়ের তিক্ত স্বাদ অনুভব করব! আর ফুটবল এর একটি বড় উদাহরণ! কিন্তু ঈশ্বরকে ধন্যবাদ যিশু খ্রিস্টের জন্য, যিনি আমাদের এই জীবনের ঊর্ধ্বে একটি দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি দেন এবং প্রভুর হাত থেকে আমরা যা কিছু পাই তা উপভোগ করার সুযোগ করে দেন!
আমি এই বিশ্বকাপের প্রতিটি দিন তীব্রভাবে বেঁচেছি, প্রতিশ্রুতি, নিষ্ঠা এবং সর্বদা নিজের সেরাটা দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করে!
যারা আমাদের জন্য উল্লাস করেছেন এবং আমাদের উপর বিশ্বাস রেখেছেন, আমি তাদের প্রত্যেককে আমার অন্তরের অন্তঃস্থল থেকে ধন্যবাদ জানাতে চাই। আমি এই বিশ্বকাপে একই অনুভূতি এবং উদ্দেশ্য নিয়ে লক্ষ লক্ষ ব্রাজিলিয়ানের এক বিশাল সমাবেশ দেখেছি, এবং আমার ইচ্ছা এই অনুভূতি যেন অব্যাহত থাকে। আমরা আমাদের ষষ্ঠ শিরোপার অনুসন্ধান অব্যাহত রেখেছি!!
