Spicy Spoon

Stay tuned – something tasty is always cooking here! Hi, I’m Sharmin Akter – a former Radiographer and Biochemist with 8 years of professional experience. Though I’ve now stepped away from the medical field, I’ve stepped into something that brings me joy every day: cooking. I moved to Dhaka in 2016 to pursue my studies and lived there until the end of 2024. Since then, I’ve started a beautiful new chapter with my husband—we got married in February 2024. He’s been my biggest supporter ever since, always helping with cooking and home management, and constantly encouraging me to follow my passion. Spicy Spoon is more than just a cooking page. It’s a reflection of my journey, my creativity, and the love I pour into every dish. With my husband’s support and your love, I dream of turning this passion into a flavorful venture. Follow along for homemade recipes, cozy vibes, and a lot of heart.
