The Cost of Ignoring Standards: A Story of “Big Zero Limited”
Once upon a time there was a company Namely “Big Zero Limited”, where members are not recognized rather they always criticized for their shortcomings, they don’t feel valued.
Managers also wasting their time conducting bad meetings, there was a disconnection between managers and members even among managers themselves, Manager’s desire to stay in the loop and delegate tasks as a result members showing disinterest in attending meeting results. Meetings are often viewed as a hassle for the members, these distractions scatter their focus, killing their productivity and morale. Even, members stopped trusting and respecting the management team.
Bad managers threaten members’ job security. Members are fearful of imminent layoff, they started gossiping throughout the office. Scared members even spend working hours to look for a new job.
Managers are starting to play blame game withholding information and answer questions in vague, noncommittal ways. They refrain from showing compassion rather they create a persona that appears unapproachable. Manager’s behavior was unpredictable that’s why members feel uncertain and fearful. As a result, productivity is going down, reducing profitability and increasing employee turnover at a substantial rate.
