A critical deterioration is affecting the health of infant Alaa Abu Taha, after suffering from nasal atrophy that caused erosion of the middle nasal septum, leaving him with only one nasal opening instead of two. This poses a serious threat to his breathing and risks permanent deformities.
His suffering did not stop there. Doctors also discovered that he has cataracts “white water” in both eyes, which has currently caused him to lose his vision completely.
Doctors warned of the risk of permanent blindness at any moment, in addition to the possibility of other serious complications. Due to the severe lack of medical resources and equipment, medical teams have been unable to provide the necessary treatment locally.
Doctors have urgently recommended transferring the infant abroad for treatment and delicate surgeries on his eyes and nose, in an attempt to save his sight and his life before it is too late.

After two years of mourning their presumed deaths under the rubble of their Khan Younis home after a terrorist isπeli strike, the Al-Aqqad family has discovered a flicker of hope in a photograph.

The image shows 75-year-old Aisha Al-Aqqad and her 39-year-old daughter, Huda, blindfolded inside an Isπeli military vehicle. While the photo suggests they survived the air strike, their current location and condition remain unknown.

Note: The photo was originally posted by an Isπeli soldier on Instagram in May 2024 and has recently recirculated online after the family recognized the two female hostages.
