Both mangoes are growing on the same branch of the same tree. One is already ripe, while the other still needs more time to mature.

Through these mangoes, nature teaches us an important lesson: just because others seem to succeed before us doesn’t mean we are failures. It simply means our time has not come yet.

Therefore, we must be patient, stay resilient, and not give in to frustration.

We might be just a short time away from reaching our own moment of success.

Remember, our time will come—it just takes patience, persistence, and faith.

২০১৮ সালে যখন গার্মেন্টস শ্রমিকদের ন্যুনতম মজুরি ৮ হাজার টাকা নির্ধারিত হয়, তখন গড়ে ডলার দাম ছিল ৮৩ টাকা ৮৭ পয়সা। ফলে ২০১৮ সালে ডলারে ন্যূনতম মজুরি দাড়ায় ৯৫ দশমিক ৩৮ ডলার।

বর্তমানে গার্মেন্টস মালিকরা রপ্তানির ক্ষেত্রে ১ ডলার বাবদ ১১০ টাকা পাচ্ছেন। ফলে ৯৫ দশমিক ৩৮ ডলারের বর্তমান মূল্য দাড়াচ্ছে ১০ হাজার ৪৮২ টাকা।
ন্যুনতম মজুরি বোর্ডের সর্বশেষ বৈঠকে গার্মেন্টস মালিকরা শ্রমিকদের জন্য নতুন ন্যূনতম মজুরি প্রস্তাব করেছেন ১০ হাজার ৪০০ টাকা যা এমনকি ডলারের মূল্যবৃদ্ধি সমন্বয় করলে ২০১৮ সালের মজুরির বর্তমানে যা দাড়ায় তার চেয়েও ৮২ টাকা কম!

তারমানে মালিকরা শ্রমিকদের মজুরি আসলে বাড়াতে চাচ্ছেন না, স্রেফ ডলারের মূল্যবৃদ্ধিটুকু এডজাস্ট করে দিতে চাচ্ছেন।

তারমানে ২০১৮ সালের পর গত ৫ বছরে মালিকদের যে আয় বেড়েছে, তার ভাগ তারা শ্রমিকদের দিতে চাচ্ছেন না। অন্যদিকে ৫ বছরে নিত্যপ্রয়োজনীয় পণ্যের যে ব্যাপক মূল্যবৃদ্ধি ঘটেছে তা ডলারের মূল্যবৃদ্ধির চেয়েও অনেক বেশি। ফলে শুধু ডলারে মূল্যবৃদ্ধির সাপেক্ষে শ্রমিকদের মজুরি বাড়ালে তা নিত্যপণ্যের মূল্যবৃদ্ধিকে কমপেনসেট করতে পারবে না।
