এতো ভাষায় তোমাকে দেখার বাসনা ভাষায়িত করেছি যে,
আজ ক্ষণিকের জলধর মেঘ তোমার প্রাঙ্গণে রয়ে গেলো,
তবে এক আকাশ নিরবতা সহ ভাষাহীন আমি,
তোমার আভায় দেখি, তাদেরই পুলকিত হবার ছবি।

সমুদ্রের ঢেউয়ের ঝলকানির শব্দে তোমাকে নাহয় না-ই বা দেখলাম,
না-ই বা নিলাম তোমার স্নিগ্ধতা,
হারিয়ে যাও তুমি রাতের আড়ালে,
নির্বাক কবির স্রষ্টা।
