Dj Dennis - Kingsclub Dennis (Bonum) is a Belgian DJ & producer shaped by decades of afterclub culture. At the age of 12 he already knew he wanted to be a DJ.

Active since 1997, he blends deep grooves, driving tech house and melodic techno with dark atmospheres, retro influences and late-night energy. Dj Dennis (aka Dennis Bonum)

someone who has been well known & respected in the nightlife scene for over 20 years. Born in Aalst 1981 it was at a young age he fell in love with the upcoming dance and house music. A few summer jobs later, purchasing the ne

cessary equipment and after some practice he started DJing in 1997. After a few years as a DJ in his local pub and on local party's, he could start as a DJ in his favorite club,
The Kings Club (afterclub) at Aalst. He has been a resident dj there since 2001 until the bitter end (close & breakdown of the club) in 2020. As an afterclub DJ he also managed to be heard in the regular nightlife and on many retro party's. Over the years he has played in almost every well-known club as guest DJ (At the Villa, Illusion, La Rocca, Lagoa, BBC, Riva/Bocca,
Tropicana, Arènchi, Insomnia, Webside, Poco Loco, Mushroom/D-Tox, Factory....) and some as resident DJ (La Gomera, Exquis/Ace, Club Two, White house, The Mustang[dance-bar], Bar L'Amazonia). He also played at party's for Cherrymoon (retrohalloween), Le Dimanche, Insane, Cream, Le Lotus club/ Le Cube,....

and outdoor events as Dance Division, Mantra, Afterlife Festival, Our House, Housebiet.. He plays a mix of deep- & tech-house & (melodic)techno with the appropriate retro beats.

The Kings Club’s archive has just received a major update. More than 150 sets from the legendary Aalst afterclub are now available on BeatSessions, preserving countless hours from those long nights that continued after almost everywhere else had closed.

To mark the update, here is DJ Dennis with a three-hour recording from 12 October 2008. No short fragment or isolated memory this time, but enough music to settle back into the atmosphere and let the night unfold at its own pace.

King’s disappeared physically in 2020, but its soundtrack continues to grow. Explore the archive, rediscover familiar names and perhaps find a recording from a night you still remember.
