Pinguin Society Pinguin Society is a music collective and record label based in Brussels finding its roots in the shared love for music and records of four friends.

By growing together towards an ever evolving personal sound, fine tuned by collecting records that speak to our minds and bodies, it became clear we wanted to carry this out into the world. As a record label we aim to (re-)release /rediscover music that does the same thing and fits perfectly in this sound. Think '90s house and techno at its most exploratory, with traces of trance, tech-house and e

lektro. It's addictive, warm and sometimes punchy dance music with that special little something on top.

“Ruud van Es had an old movie videotape titled ‘The Late Great Planet Earth.’ Inspired by this book and movie, we crafted an album that was completely different from our previous work. It was refreshing to step outside the box once again and be creatively engaged in the studio.” - Peru, aka Peter Kommers, Rob Papen, and Ruud van Es.

We made a selection of tracks from their album 'The Prophecies'. This project was new to them, where they tried out different styles and explored new paths, sounding unlike anything they had released before. Back in ‘93, it wasn’t exactly understood by fans of their previous work, but now it feels like it has gained relevance again. Previously only released on CD, occasionally heard on dubplate in clubs, but now it’s compiled on vinyl and remastered by Scape Mastering for the first time for our third release!

Hi Beautiful Freak, We’re ready for the next edition of Basic Moves & Pinguin Society’s event happening at our beloved venue BUDA BXL. This will take place on Saturday 25th of May into Sunday afternoon 26th of May.
Slowly but surely we’re moving forward hosting this gathering full of curiosity, togetherness and care. Exploring musical chapters, from deep red, over yellow joy, into sparkling orange. For the next edition we’re adding again some colors to the pallet. Giving space for daydreams and night flights.

Beautiful Freaks for all freaks, a little message of importance:
We understand that the ticket prices might be on the high end for some, and therefore you can help out another freak by choosing one of the ‘supporting freak’ tickets. This also includes the entrance fee. These little extras will be used to aid those facing financial difficulties.
Your contribution can help us create a more inclusive and supportive community, where everyone can feel valued and connected. Every little bit helps, and we appreciate your generosity.
