🗓️ 2023 was another year full of exciting activities and events in Stad Antwerpen - Visit Antwerp.
We had the honour of summarising it all in a year-end video 🎞️

📷 Being allowed to take photos for Fiera Antwerp was already quite an honour. Now seeing them shining on the Gault&Millau Belgium website is yet another great checkbox to tick off ✔🤩
🎬 Video is often associated exclusively with TV, websites and social media. But there are so many more possibilities...
☀️ For example, we recently made a video for BEPROJECTS.be that helps consumers choose the right solar panels.
💻 From now on, anyone who makes an enquiry will be sent a video that facilitates the choice and explains from thread to needle which materials are used and how the installation is done.
🎞️ A great example of the many possibilities audiovisual content can offer.

📸 🎥 Earlier this month, we went to Jungheinrich Belgium with our photo and film gear. Their employee party this year was completely in Indian Summer theme and we had the honour of making a photo report and an aftermovie there. Another fun assignment for a very nice client 👌

📆 Dag van het positief denken
🙌 Positiviteit brengt je verder in het leven en maakt je gelukkiger, dat is wetenschappelijk bewezen. Zuchten, klagen en blazen heeft immers nooit zin. Bovendien is het besmettelijk voor de sfeer onder collega’s en schept het ook een hele slechte indruk bij klanten.
😁 Positieve emoties daarentegen zorgen ervoor dat onze gelukshormonen in werking treden en we ons goed gaan voelen. Hierdoor worden ook onze leergebieden naar een hoger niveau gebracht en kunnen we informatie beter oppikken, vasthouden en weer terug oproepen.
Dus ook al heb je een moeilijk dag, probeer steeds de positieve mindset vast te houden ⚡️⚡️
☀️ Earlier this summer (you know, when the sun was still shining and we could go outside without an umbrella), Fin Forward's team event took place.
It turned out to be an inspiring day that was all about self-reflection and unwinding, but most of all being together with a lot of great colleagues 👌

📸 A great example of what we love most: shooting in documentary style. Authentic images that don't need words. We're convinced this is still the strongest way of destination marketing 😉

🚢 The beautiful Havenhuis by Zaha Hadid Architects has recently opened a coffee bar. A nice extra for tourists, of course, which made Visit Antwerp keen to share it on its social media channels.

✨ Logo reveal!
Last month Wandercam saw the first light, today it gets a face.
The name Wandercam is a contraction from 2 words:
Wanderlust (the desire to travel, to explore, wandering to all the beautiful and interesting things the world has to offer) and Camera (making photos and videos).
Sofie Loos was commissioned to design a logo that subtly refers to these two words and she has done so wonderfully!
The logo is a finely designed camera with a reference to the globe, to show on the one hand the main sectors Wandercam focuses on (travel, tourism and leisure) and on the other hand also the international character. The green colours with light accents also fit perfectly into that picture.
Fun fact: The W not only looks very pretty, it's also 2 beautifully designed mountains when you turn it over. Again, a reference to travel and the international character 😉
