I saw some hurtful comments because she chose to forgive the guy. One lady even said that forgiving someone like this only means you accept what they’ve done.

But only a true Christian understands the real meaning of forgiveness. Forgiveness is the key to peace and moving on. It doesn’t mean you have to be friends with the person or stay in touch with them. It simply means you let it go, because revenge belongs to the Lord, not to us.
