From nursery to college, Filipinos invest around 20 years in education:
- Nursery: 1 year
- Kindergarten: 1 year
- Preparatory: 1 year
- Elementary: 6 years
- Junior High: 4 years
- Senior High: 2 years
- College: 4–5 years, plus a few months for licensure exams

After all the effort and expenses put into education, many face jobs offering only ₱500 per day or equivalent to 9 US Dollars. Often, these roles demand numerous requirements or prior experience.

Despite the long educational path and countless sleepless nights, landing a job can be challenging. Sometimes being "presentable" is prioritized over actual skills. Opportunities often hinge on connections rather than competencies.

In the Philippines, completing decades of education still leads to low salaries and tough job markets.
