Emma Beko (CA) is a Montreal-based artist born in Budapest to a Peruvian father and a Hungarian-Canadian mother, raised between Montreal and New York — a truly borderless background that runs through every note she makes. Her music exists somewhere between cinematic ambient and hip-hop — melancholic, emotionally layered, and unhurried.

Her forthcoming album Cicada, out May 14, 2026 on her own label, features collaborations with Nailah Hunter, CFCF, Sophia Bel and Tuerie, and conceptualizes the idea that before we die, our whole life flashes before our eyes — exploring impermanence, intergenerational pain, and hard-won serenity.
