These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the label's core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada, and Sound Process. It set in motion what has been a unique course to musical freedom, pioneering various sonic blueprints over the course of eight years, while maintaining a strong bond between its loyal and ever-expanding fanbase. DEMO POLICY (Please Read!!)
Before sending your demo, please make sure your style is matching the Sound Avenue profile. Do not be dissapointed if we don't answer you personally. If we are interested in your music, we will get in touch with you for sure. Due the high amount of demo's our release-schedule is always full for many months. However we always accept demo's for our successful quarterly 'We Are The Future' compilations on our sublabel 3rd Avenue. If you're demo is so mindblowing it can happen we sign your track for Sound Avenue, a nice example is the debut EP of "Daraspa" in 2013, he never released one track before. We're always open to give new talents a chance. We prefer to get demo's via a PRIVATE SOUNDCLOUD LINK to demo(at)soundavenue.be (So please no Sendspace, Megaupload, ZippyfileWeTransfers or even worse: mp3 attachments!)

The latest release from Madloch’s Sound Avenue welcomes Ercos Blanka back to the label for a new EP. A musician for the majority of his life, Italian artist Thierry Viti aka Ercos Blanka began his journey playing guitar at the age of seven, while taking cues from the likes of Fabrizio De André, Battisti, Mina and eventually Pink Floyd, the latter of which opened his mind to more experimental music. Three years on at the age of ten, Thierry was gifted a keyboard and a Kraftwerk CD, marking a turning point in his musical journey, one where he realized his true passion lay in electronic music composition. On the strength of early tracks such as 2011’s ‘Digital Deep’ and ‘Secret Love’, Ercos established himself as a name to watch in the deeper realms of house and techno, pushing an aesthetic that was both haunting and effortlessly cool. Blanka’s creative partnership with Sound Avenue began in 2020 and proved to be a resounding success, in the form of a contribution to the label’s ‘Correlation’ series with ‘Kafka’, a track which generated more than 2.6 million streams on Spotify. Additional projects via Saisons and Seven Villas across the next four years would further establish Blanka’s deep, dubbed out and character rich sound. Now, Ercos makes a welcome return to Sound Avenue with a two-track showcase entitled ‘Another Jazz’.

Last night I received the news that Mitch, one of my oldest and dearest friends in the music scene, has passed away. I’m in shock. Truly lost for words.
Anyone who knew Mitch will understand when I say he was one of those rare, kind souls. Always helping others, never asking for anything in return.
I still remember being a customer when he launched Release Promo, the very first digital download shop, over 20 years ago, long before Beatport even existed.
Years later, I reached out to him to help with press releases for Sound Avenue. He continued doing that, release after release, all the way up to now. I was actually planning to send him the next batch today... 😢
What started as a great working relationship slowly turned into a genuine friendship.
I had the chance to meet him in person for the first time in 2016 in Toronto. A few years later, when I had a gig in Montreal, I booked a flight just to see him. So glad I did that.
We stayed in touch over all these years. Almost daily chats on Skype, or at least a few times a week, until Skype suddenly stopped working. So strange.
Mitch was also a mentor to me. He helped me make important decisions for the labels and often gave advice about which producers to work with (or not!).
A few months ago, he was hospitalized again. I offered to help with some of his work for Release Promo, but he didn’t want to let go of anything. Even in intensive care, he had his laptop with him, still writing for labels and arranging SoundCloud reposts.
It’s hard to imagine continuing without him.
I’ve already seen so many people share how much he meant to them, and I can only confirm what a beautiful soul he was.
I know our souls will meet again someday.
Thank you for being such an important part of my life, Mitch. ❤️
