we are beyond excited about the release of JYN's long-expected album SUN 🌞 a collection of shimmery, sultry & bittersweet songs - like a summer romance that is slowly coming to an end
The album feels like spending a hot, sun-soaked summer at the Côte D’Azur in 1968. With sensual vocals, shimmery guitars, dusty drums and groovy bass lines, JYN blends the timeless allure of icons like Brigitte Bardot, Nico and Marianne Faithfull with modern favorites like Dina Ögon, Jessica Pratt and Khruangbin, like on the success-single "Peach & Honey".
“Wearing the Sun” drifts between dreamy indie pop and vintage soul — effortless, flirty and warm, like slipping into golden hour with nowhere to be. Built on shimmery groove & sun-soaked vocals, it feels like a carefree escape: nothing to carry, nothing to prove.
“What More Can I Say” moves between longing, nostalgic indie pop + soothing analog soul. Like waking up after a blurry dream – drowsy, but filled with hopeful energy. If music were colors, this song would be buttery yellow, with a touch of strawberry pink.
And now finally "Brigitte Bardot” - dream-soaked and warm, intimite, yet somewhat distant. A soft, nostalgic romance that captures the bittersweet paradox of love - happiness touched by melancholy, like the final scene of your favorite classic movie. A Swedish love affair to remember, where fleeting moments feel eternal until they slip away.
