I came across this old war-time poem called “Jesus of the Scars”… and I haven’t been able to unsee it since.
It reminded me that we don’t follow a distant God.
We follow One who bleeds. Who still bears the scars — not for shame, but to show us we’re not alone in ours.
Your pain? He understands it. Your silence? He sat in that too.
Your scars? He shares them.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, wounded, or unseen—He gets it. And He’s not walking away.
🖤 Let’s reflect together. Which line hit you the most?
