Just a glimpse of the energy in this video, playing Carl Craig’s At Les (Christian Smith's Tronic Treatment remix) for the first time at the perfect moment was the highlight for me.

Live at Fuse – 19.04.25

The latest episode of my bi-monthly show for We Are Various is now online. This one features the live recording of the first hour of my set at the legendary Fuse back in April; the warm-up slot, from 11PM to 2AM. Still basking in the afterglow of last weekend’s gig at the legendary Fuse.

Room01 was electric, with a crowd that knows how to connect, buzzing with energy and openness. It was a true pleasure to warm things up with a 3-hour set, and playing Carl Craig’s At Les (Christian Smith's Tronic Treatment remix) for the first time at the perfect moment was the highlight. A real tribute to the '90s, when I was a regular on that dancefloor. A flood of memories came rushing back.

Fuse continues to live up to its iconic legacy.

A new session for my We Are Various online radio residency featuring a selection of broken beats, Detroit-inspired acid-fueled house music, a variety of other house subgenres and the Tangerine Dream-obsessed 'The End' by Niko Tzoukmanis

Finally found the perfect moment to play the breathtaking, epic 11-minute-long Joe 'Joacquin' Claussel remix of Bassfort. I still remember hearing it for the first time when DJ Harvey played it at the Worldwide Festival in 2011, at Théâtre de la Mer – a stunning amphitheater overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in Sète. Without a doubt, one of my top 5 favorite DJ sets and nights out of all time! Anyway, happy to include it here. Here's my new mix!

Delighted and honoured to be playing at Fuse in April. It's been a while since i played there under other aliases. Overjoyed to be doing this under my own name.

This is the nightclub that opened my eyes and ears in the 90s. In every way. Meeting many likeminded souls every weekend as a Fuse regular. The world-renowned music institute where i got my cutting edge electronic music education. The place where i felt at home. Finally feeling part of a community.

Sometimes you think too much about expectations while making a new dj-mix. You feel constricted to certain genres as a concept and overthink how to market yourself. That's why i love deadlines sometimes. You stop listening to your inner critic, just let your creative mind loose and start creating something that translates your emotions of that certain time.

You also challenge yourself to do something different. Which is why i started this new project and making mixes for online radio We Are Various. What's in a name. Last week i instantly felt like making a deep emotional electro mix. Different kinds of old & new electro soul, electro funk, electro breaks, and Detroit electro.

This is the result.

Reminiscing on this drizzly day about this rainy year. But it surely was a great one. This year was the launch of my new project under my own name. Reconnecting with my roots in electronic music besides the fundamentals disco, funk and boogie.

It took off perfectly with a disco/funk/boogie set at NYE Contrair. I really enjoyed doing many b2b sessions w/ friends a local hero, Goldfox, Ruben VSB and Discohans. I fondly remember club gigs at Geheimzinnig/ Club Capital, De Serre Hasselt, Bootstraat open air, very notable private parties in Italy, South of France and festival sets at Release Festival, Tomorrowland Rave Cave besides other great ones and many online radio sessions for We Are Various and Kiosk Radio. Let's make 2025 even better!
