A soundtrack for Sanicole Airshow ✈️

Grew up just a few kilometres from Sanicole, with the Airshow basically happening in our backyard every year. Watching the practice flights for days, heading to the show with the family, and later exploring the military grounds behind the Aeroclub with friends. Those planes have been part of the local scenery for as long as I can remember. Fast forward to 2026 and somehow I’m part of the show myself.

This Saturday I’m joining Pieter-Jan Valgaeren aka Don D. Palmer to create the live soundtrack for the Sanicole Sunset Airshow, in front of around 25,000 people.

Definitely not your average DJ set. We’ll be scoring aircraft, aerobatics, parachutists, drones, fireworks and the setting sun as it all happens above us.

Being slightly obsessed with cult movie soundtracks and OSTs, this is very much my kind of musical challenge. The record digging went deep: expect everything from Caribou and Fatboy Slim to The Doors (of course), Chromatics, classic rock, electronics, soundscapes, film scores and a few special surprises in between.

Planes in the sky. Fireworks. Drones. Sunset. A gigantic soundsystem.

Vuurwerk, vlammen en ronkende jetmotoren: ook de komende editie van de Sanicole Airshow in Hechtel-Eksel belooft weer veel spektakel. Maar wie zaterdagavond bij duisternis gaat kijken, krijgt dit jaar nog een extra beleving erbovenop met live dj-sets én drones.

FLOATLINE WEEKEND, LET’S GOOOOOOO. 🌲💥

One of my absolute favourite weekends of the year is here again: Floatline Festival. And apparently they still trust me enough to let me do several things.

TODAY: FREE FOR ALL
Closing my festival summer with a good old Kristof Claes vinyl set. No techno duties tonight: expect rock, roll, punk and bangers. Basically anything that scratches, swings or makes you spill your b**r.

SATURDAY: DE BOS 🌲
Once again I had the pleasure of curating the electronic stage, and instead of booking a bunch of DJs I went for four live acts and varying degrees of beautiful chaos:

🌱 Shopping4 ft. we are onions x x - cute collective, synths, experiment
⚡ Borokov Borokov - electropunk, synthpop, acid
👾 GameboyzIImen - 4-to-8-bit 360 rave
💥 Klakmatrak - punk, frenchcore, destroy everything

Analog machines, digital hardware, synths, oldschool Gameboys, guitars, gabber kicks and absolutely no guarantee that any trees will still be standing afterwards.

And all of that is just one tiny corner of the wonderful madness that is Floatline.

Happy 8/08! Today we're taking Utopia Leuven on the road. 🖤

After nine club nights at Het Depot and three open air raves at Club Vismarkt, we're hosting the main stage of the infamous Aftrsun Festival.

I have the honor of welcoming some of my personal heroes for a pure Utopian line-up, ranging from hardgroove techno to pioneering 808 electro, featuring MARCEL DETTMANN, Anthony Rother Hybrid Set, Marco Bailey, Steve RedHead, NÄT, Romain Vincent and yours truly Goldfox.

This marks the next step in the Utopian journey, from club nights to festival stages and beyond.

Flashback Force weekender coming up ⚡️

Friday we're heading to Release Festival in Borgloon with a classic Flashback set packed with house, disco, techno, electro and trance favourites.

Saturday we're dusting off the black gold for a full vinyl set at 12 Inch Lovers, digging deep into the crates for forgotten classics and rare bootlegs. Had soooo much fun with my Goldfox set there last year (recording in the comments) and I'm excited to play the brand new Southside stage. Saturday is sold out.

As the festival wraps up another beautiful edition, I stumbled upon this YouTube recording of my set at Paradise City Festival back in 2018.

I played in between the live sets of Acid Arab and Omar Souleyman, somewhere in the early afternoon during an absolutely blistering heatwave. Downtempo, moody, atmospheric, built for slow listening and filled with records I never really got to play during peak time back then. I remember having an absurd amount of fun.

Was this also the year of the legendary afterparty at Sfeercafé De Punt? 😶‍🌫️

I'm doing something very special at Jera On Air on Saturday. 🦊
Pure punk power by day and a Goldfox electroclash journey by night.

The Quail stage transforms from a daytime playground filled with surprising DJ sets and glorious nonsense into the Nightingale, packed with late-night bangers where you can burn through every last bit of energy on the dancefloor.

This is going to be sooooo much fun!
